New Screening of the “Why Quilts Matter: History, Art & Politics” – Sep 14, 2011
Last Sunday, The Speed Art Museum hosted a screening of Episode 2, “Quilts Bring History Alive.” We had a fabulous turnout, and I’ve heard from many of you that watching it “on the big screen” was an amazing and different experience. I couldn’t agree more!
Be sure to visit our YouTube channel for a few insider clips we got on Sunday.
Looking forward to the next screening of Episode 4, “What is Art”, at the Carnegie Center for Art & History, 201 East Spring Street New Albany, IN 47150, on September 14th. The cost is $5.00 (free for members), with limited seating and registration is required by September 13th.
PLEASE NOTE: The event starts at 7:30PM (instead of 6PM) due to I-64 bridge closing in Indiana.
Hope to see you all there!
– Shelly

Would love to receive your newsletter! I’m a relatively new quilter, but love working with the fabrics and love seeing all the creative use of colors, textures and patterns. Thanks!
Thank you, Libby! We are glad you’ve joined us!
